1. Ticket Validity

Tickets are valid only for the specific event, date, time and venue shown on the booking confirmation. All ticket sales are final. No refunds, exchanges or transfers are permitted unless required under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

2. Cancellations, Postponements & Changes

D Entertainment does not accept voluntary cancellations or change requests initiated by the ticket holder.

If an event is cancelled, postponed or materially changed by D Entertainment or the venue:

  • We will take reasonable steps to notify ticket holders via email or official channels.
  • A replacement date, venue, or session time may be offered where possible.
  • Cash refunds will only be issued where required by the ACL.

3. Admission Requirements

Entry is subject to venue rules, safety requirements and relevant Australian classification laws.

  • Valid photo ID may be required for restricted screenings.
  • Latecomers may be refused entry or seated at an appropriate break at the venue’s discretion.
  • Failure to comply with venue rules may result in refusal of entry or removal without refund.

4. Code of Conduct

Guests must behave respectfully towards staff, patrons and the venue. D Entertainment and venue management reserve the right to:

  • Refuse entry, or
  • Remove any person from the premises

who is intoxicated, abusive, disruptive or otherwise causing a disturbance.

5. Anti-Piracy Policy

To protect copyright and the rights of our partners, the following rules apply:

  • Recording devices (phones, cameras, tablets, laptops, smartwatches, etc.) are strictly prohibited during screenings.
  • Staff may monitor the auditorium to enforce this policy.
  • Anyone caught recording any part of a screening will be removed and may face legal consequences under Australian copyright law.
  • Unauthorised sharing or distribution of film content is a criminal offence.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, D Entertainment (including its employees and agents) is not liable for:

  • Personal injury or illness,
  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal property,
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss

except where such liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Privacy Notice

Personal information collected during ticketing is used to process bookings, notify attendees of event updates and meet legal obligations. We handle all information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

8. Force Majeure

D Entertainment is not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, venue closures, power outages, public health emergencies, technical failures, or civil unrest.

9. Film Classification Ratings (Australia)

All screenings comply with the Australian Classification Board’s official ratings. It is an offence to admit a person to a film where they do not meet legal age requirements.

Rating Description
GGeneral. Suitable for all ages.
PGParental guidance recommended.
MMature. Recommended for viewers 15+.
MA15+Restricted. Persons under 15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
R18+Restricted to adults 18 and over.
X18+Restricted to adults 18 and over; specific content category.
RCRefused Classification. Cannot be shown in Australia.

10. Purchase of Products or Services

By purchasing any product or service through this website or our authorised ticketing partners, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Persons under 16 years of age must have parental or guardian consent to complete transactions.

11. Classification Compliance & ID Checks

You must not purchase tickets for or permit entry by anyone who does not meet the legal age requirement for a film. ID checks may be conducted at entry.

  • Valid government-issued photo ID may be required.
  • Entry will be refused without refund if age requirements are not met.

12. Cinema Policies

Individual cinema partners may enforce their own venue rules, including:

  • Dress codes and general conduct policies,
  • Responsible service of alcohol,
  • Safety and security screening.

Recording devices are prohibited unless prior written approval is granted for authorised media.

13. Food & Beverage Policy

Unless specified otherwise by the venue, only water may be brought into the auditorium. No external food or beverages are permitted.

Some venues may offer dairy-free, vegan, or gluten-free options. For dietary concerns, contact the venue directly.
